My favorite Fall incense: Golden Pavilion by Shoyeido. It smells like cinnamon, cloves and autumn leaves–even more so than another scent they make which is actually called Kyoto Autumn Leaves. That one is great, too, but Golden Pavilion is far closer to the essence of the season in my opinion.
Shoyeido incense can be pretty hard to find so I usually order it online.

Nice. I will definitely check these out come fall. I definitely dig fall, though that means summer is over.
man, thanks for posting this!never heard of it and i’m definitely going to buy them.recommended:http://www.gonesh.net/p-51-holiday-traditions.aspxI burn the ghostly glow incense sticks on halloween night. HIGHLY recommend them.
I’ve liked each of the 6 or 7 Shoyeido incenses that I’ve tried. The stuff is fantastic. Some can be a little pricey but it’s easily the best incense I’ve ever burned.Really looking forward to trying the one you recommended, rot. The ingredients sound awesome.
I think you’ll like it. I stick them in the ground on halloween night. I also burn scented tea lights and votives from dark candles. Their clove scent is so strong, so I mix a bunch of clove tea lights in with my regular tea lights inside my pumpkins. I ordered the Golden pavilion and the Autumn leaves incense sticks…looking so forward to getting them. Thanks again for the post.
I tried scented candles in the jackos last year and it was a big hit. Got a lot of comments on it. I’ll definitely be ordering from Dark Candles this time around. If nothing else, I love the names of their candles. : )
Got my incense already. INSANELY fast. I LOVE it. Great recommendation. I owe you.
Excellent! I’m really glad you like them. I should mention that I placed a big order at Dark Candles the other day. They’re great over there. Really looking forward to those showing up.And you don’t owe me a thing after all the great recommendations I’ve gotten from your site.
